He excelled as an "A" student throughout his formal schooling and broadened his experience by seeking studies under some of the world's most renowned specialists and respected art teachers throughout the world. Mark has maintained these friendships and continues to share techniques with his peers. Mark has established himself as one of the most sought after artisans in the San Diego area.
He has traveled abroad to study the "Olde Worlde" technique, and in the process has become a pioneer among decorative artists. His studies have taken him to the Italian regions of Venice, Florence, Rome, San Gimignano, and Tuscany; where he worked on a two thousand year old castle. He has studied in the French Polynesian Islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Manihi, and Raitea. Mark then studied in the Hawaiian Islands, the South Pacific, the Mexican cities of Cozumel, Hualtulco, Cancun, and Mexicao City;The Caribbean, Bahamas, and the states of Nevada, Massachusetts, New York and Florida. Mark is truly a student of the world of artistry.

for the last 20 years. He has been extensively sought after to assist
with designer showcases and proudly displays his work in high end showrooms
all over San Diego County. His artistry has been featured on the covers
of "Dream Homes", "San Diego Home/Garden", "San
Diego Magazine", "Arts & Decor"," Architectural
Digest" and many others.
Mark has created interior design concepts for the most discerning clientele who require unique distinction with a personal touch. Mark's resume includes many dignitaries, celebrities, corporate leaders, and those homeowners who want the best finishes to transform their homes into the one in their dreams. He was specifically invited to perform his artistry in the homes of three of the world's largest high end furniture manufacturers. Mark is a student of perfection.
Mark can create or reproduce virtually any finish on any substrate. Whether it be interior or exterior plaster, gypsum board, walls or ceilings, furniture, pianos, lighting fixtures, wrought iron, steel, wood, plastic, stone, etc. When he is completed, you won't believe it's painted! He is a master at reproducing an existing finish or reproducing a photograph from a book or magazine.
His 30,000 plus finishes are incredible. Many of which are his original creations.
